About YUVA UNSTOPPABLE

“Young people are not useless, but used less”

Yuva Unstoppable is a fully volunteer run movement in 15 cities with over 7000 volunteers who are helping 80 NGOs/Old Age Homes/Handicap Homes/etc.

We give the youth an opportunity to volunteer for 2 hours/week and inspire them to do random acts of kindness. Yuva-ites make a difference at orphanages, blind children associations, handicapped homes, government schools, old age homes, nature parks, etc via education, nutrition, healthcare and affection. And by YOUTH we mean young at heart and not just young in age.

Apart from volunteering Yuva-ites also indulge in acts of kindness such
as: buy ice-cream for police on the cross roads, do dishes for
your servant one day in a week, impart I.T. skills to the needy, organize
food, clothing drives & tree plantation drives, give free hugs to
strangers, put extra money in the company vending machine, leave a thank you note for your boss anonymously.

Goal: Make young people kinder.

Before joining Sparsh, I waz asked by people dat howz ur job n study going bt now they ask howz ut job, study n project going. It simply means a lot 4 me.

I have bn enjoying the best phase of my life at Sparsh. I have also got lots of frnds infact very gud frnds at Sparsh.

Sparsh Girls' performance at WALKERS & TOWNHALL, Dinner Treat by B'day girls & Indroda park trip, these r some Sweet memories of Sparsh.

I firlmy believe dat ONE life can make a differance. In the same way, v all here at Sparsh r making a huge difference.

Sparsh-----The love that touched me

Its been one year i have been associated with Sparsh.I remember the auspicious occasion of Friendship day 3/8/'08 when it was my first day at Sparsh....all the thanx to Hardeep for getting me involved in this stuff and a sincere thanx to my college friend for making me aware of such NGo.

After a journey of one year Sparsh has etched a frame of
love,care,friendship and respect in my mind and heart.It has taught me loads of stuff and with help of YuVa i am a better and kinder person now.

I remember the days when we take the kids for outing.The dance practices and performances by the little angels,birthday celebrations and the small feuds between kids and we people sitting and explaining them are my best memories.The kids performing on huge stages which even we haven't done is really applaudable.

My time with my cute little friends are my sweetest moments which i always love to steal from my schedule...........The love,care and respect the kids of Sparsh have given me is really unforgettable and i will not be able to repay it...........

Sparsh has given me some really nice friends which has all the sincere,loving and dedicated volunteers topping the list............This family is expanding and i pray to god that he keeps on strenghthening the bond between all of us.....

I would love to see the kids of Sparsh achieve great scales in future and become a better person in the coming years.It would be my greatest pleasure if i can bring a change in any of the kids life.

This is how i feel when i m at SPARSH ,Happiest Human being .

To begin with let me tell you before joining saparsh my life was really not that happening .It was just limited to my room and my office but YUVA and sparsh has given me such a vast world to explore. A world full of joy and masti , A world full of friends ,A world full of emotions , A world which has given be satisfaction to my deepest level .

Though I miss my home now in Baroda coz i dont go there regularly due to my timings at SPARSH but let me tell u SPARSH is not less then a home to me now.

i really wish i would have joined YUVA long back but due to lack of information i joined it bit late..better late then never...

Teaching the kids was only thing in my mind before joining this movement but i never new that i would be so lucky to get a whole new family here.

Thanks to all the volunteers and of course the Kids who have motivated me to explore the better side of me.

SPARSH...

A place where I found myself,a place where I gave love and got 10 times more love & got amazing friends.

I could give the kids a lil of wat I knew but learned much more from them.Their unconditional love really Sparshed my heart.

I realized how selfish and greedy we were before meeting this kids,who found happiness in all the small things they did and wat we did for them.

I met people who actually lived for others and I thought such good people dint exist in this kalyug.I definitely changed this notion after meeting most lovable people and kindest people (a special mention of tejas n shakib n all others).

I think every moment spent at Sparsh was memorable.From teaching to partying,its been an amazing experience.This is the best thing I have done in my life cause it involved no selfish interests and it makes me feel very satisfied and happy.

Honestly,I never thought I would be so attached to this kids and only after being to the project for 8 months,I realized that tis bond is unbreakable now.Sparsh is my small family (pretty big actually) and I wish I could do my best for people there and always be there for them.

HINAL:
ummmm.. well.. I am hunting for words.. Its actually difficult for me to describe what SPARSH means to me..

I can say, I have grown as a person here. It has actually made me more kind and has helped me to become a better human being.. I still remember the first day when i came at SPARSH. Those kids made an impact on me, on the very first day.

The moments that I have spend here mean a lot to me and is framed in my heart. I guess I won't be able to forget all this till my last breath.

I have surely learnt a lot from these kids.. But apart from those kids, each and every volunteer has taught me something. At times it is really unbelievable, that how can someone be SOOOOOO SELFLESS. And its like a precious gift when you actually get to spend time with such rare people.

I was always searching for opportunities and a platform where I can get the privilage to do something like this. But after joining SPARSH I was quite satisfied. Rather started respecting myself more.

Sparsh (view of businessman) == single person gave love and got back love from 60 kids (60 times profit).... boss itna profit to aur koi bhi business me ho hi nahi sakta...!!

This is a place where i found my "bachpan" back.
whn ever i m at SPARSH i always feel that i m not going to teach there but main waha khelne aur tofan-masti karne jata hu...!!!
waha par kids ke sath bate karna.... unke sath hasna.... unko tease kar na..... unko utha ke ghumana.... unke sath dance kar na.... unke sath garba karana..... games khelna.....festival celebrate kar na.... aisi bahot sari yaad hai..... overall unke sath time spend kar na..... they all are golden memories....this memory & feelings cannot express by words....!!!!

at the time of joining, I never thought I would be so attached to SPARSH. but now Sparsh is very imp part of my life just like my family & frnds. and yeah i got many v.good frnds thru SPARSH. those ppl r actually lived for others. they are kind by heart and nature.

I like to share overall exp.: in old time whn there is no transportation and ppl go by walk from one place to another.....
at that time in summer, dopahar me kadi dhup me kabhi koi musafir ja raha ho and he saw a tree and 'otlo' there....
thn he take rest under the tree and relax his mind....then after some time he continue his journey.....
it is relevant to me also....’SPARSH’ is ‘OTLO’ for me
after 6 working hectic days (mon-sat), whenever i go to SPARSH at sunday i feel relax....i acquire new energy, some positive energy...positive vibrations from that place....from those kids....and from my friends also....so that i can relax my mind & soul and i charged up....

At last i like to say this place is truly free from cast-religion-languages and all the differences. At this place i feel like I am in NEW INDIA. A new india which have young & kind ppl. I hope by our joint efforts we can change life of those kids and make it better.

SPARSH made my picture of life very colorful....Thank you SPARSH for changing my life.

It was somewhere in the mid of May when I attended the YuVa induction programme , with a drive to do something fruitful in my vacation. I was asked to choose between several projects and I finally had to make a choice between an old-age home project and Sparsh. But, as fate had it, I entered the Sparsh fold and my view of the world changed forever.

Earlier, I used to be very cynical about people. I always thought that people, today, are apathetic towards the socio-economic challenges of our country and as the the poet Davies penned, "No time to stand and stare". This perspective of mine, is what Sparsh is responsible for changing. It has not been too long since my first at the project, when I saw a couple of volunteers, selflessly rendering themselves, wholly and solely for bringing about beautiful smiles on the innocent faces. That was the day I pledged to be associated with this extremely purposeful project as long as I can. I cannot thank all of you, volunteers and the kids, enough, for inadvertently bringing an optimism in my life. Sparsh has become an integral part of my life now. Saturdays and Sundays without the kids seem barren. Every time I enter the project premises, I am attacked by the greetings of so many charming faces; faces that come to Sparsh every weekend with a sparkle of hope in their eyes for a better future. My heart rending appreciation goes to Tejas and Shakib, for leading the project so well all these months. All these instances provide a striking contradiction to Davies's words. Some people do have time to stand and stare.

It is that day, when these kids become the faces of India and make our country proud of them, is what I look forward to. I hope this project goes a long way and reaches greater heights as the years roll by.

What should I write about sparsh?

I don’t know.

But when I close my eyes and think about sparsh, I feel some image and some words which I write over here.

For me

Sparsh is a palace,

Where I see all the diamonds,

Where I see all the stars,

Where I see next productive Indians,

Where I see tomorrow’s generation,

Where I see doctors, engineers, c.a etc.

Where I see all actors.

For me

Sparsh is a poem

Where I listen all the great words

Where all are keep smiling and generous with each other

For me

Sparsh is a acting stage,

Where all volunteers play different characters,

Sometime teacher so sometime friends

Where all children act different character,

Like student or like friend.

For me

Sparsh is a play-ground

And play different games

And take challenge from another

And give challenge to another

And through these they develop their self –confidence and sportmanspirit.

Sparsh gives me always smile.

Whenever I feel bad I think about sparsh and I keep smiling.

Through sparsh I connect with my self,

It reminds me my school days which is really great.

wat can i tell about SPARSH.Name speaks all about it..SPARSH -THE TOUCH OF LOVE...i joined sparshsine 1 year n 2 monthes ago.1st i went to play only cricket after i go thr i joind it..on very 1st day all kids treat me lyk big brother.then i came regularly.well m always thinking about when saturday comes n i meet kids or volunteers also..After i joined sparsh i feel also positive change in my life.n plus point about sparsh is bonding between kidsn voulteess.i learnt very much n steel m learing how enjoy are lyf in nice way..GOD BLESS YOU

I remember the beautiful days of Navratri, the garba nights and the fun & frolic when I was first introduced to Sparsh. My first entry to Sparsh was as a garba teacher and since then my life has changed drastically…..I am really grateful to my friend Hardik Kapadia for introducing me to this family….

After becoming aware of all the activities being carried out at Sparsh and having made my mind to join it an odd feeling ran into my mind that will I be accepted by the kids and volunteers? But all my worries flew up after watching the smiling faces of the kids and good co-operation from all the volunteers.

Since then Sparsh has become an undetachable part of my life. It’s now like my 2^nd home, school as well as college. I was completely bowled over by the love, affection and respect from the kids .The feeling of being a tutor has come and along with a pinch of being a student and learning from kids has also arrived.

Sparsh has given me the best buddies of my life. Our outings as well as sittings whether it be Abu trip or be it Makai Masti….I shall preserve all these memories like a treasure in my heart.

I simply love to spend time with these cute & loving kids and a wave of satisfaction runs into me whenever I visit Sparsh….I have observed many positive vibes in many aspects of my life after being Sparshed by the love from kids.

Last but not the least…..Sparsh has truly signified its tagline which goes as SPARSH-The Touch of Love……The love that has kept and will keep the kids as well as volunteers bonded together…..

Sparsh Journey

Don't remember d exact date when d journey begined... i was searching for some project near by my place as i returned from vvn n feed d hungry was far from my place.I went there twice but was far so was not able to maintain d regularity n then Ajvad told me about sparsh n gave me hardeep's reference... thank u ajvad .. my first day was superb.. d best was i got so much love from all d kids on the v first meet.. i was not feeling like new to dat place n it forced me to visit d place again... n same thing happened again.. n till date… N same is d experience with each n every volunteer who visit sparsh...all are hearty welcome here... n it touches straight to d heart.. TOUCH OF LOVE… n in no time d bonding built up. time went on n along with it our bonding n teaching n planning increased. I took d best task of teaching d youngest kids.. including akshara,dinesh n all... i know tough job but d best ... fun with learn ... now the schedule n flow was maintained so we wanted to start n make something more.

Every sat n sun after completing project half n hour meet at murlidhar to discuss abt wat to do next. best time at project n den some time planning to make d next time again best.. at that time team was hardeep,tejas,jay,shakib,nihar,pranav and me. Nihar the one who initiated the project. Thanks bro.. celebrating tejas's birthday was d best among d all meetings at murlidhar. At that time on each of the plan on one restriction was der- NO OF VOLUNTEERS ..

N with luck n God’s blessing we got new volunteers n golden period of sparsh started. Some of the best days at project :

craft day for small kids, one minute games, antakshari, best from waste,base games,bday celebrations,celebrating diwali at project,best use of color n everything –Holi celebration,playing cricket, riding cycle n all ground masti,birthday treat by girls, trip to science city,dance practice n d latest most is indroda park are from the best moments.

Listening akshu’s innocent talks, playing with rajshri, teaching 1,2 standard kids,encouraging elder kids n top secret with my top5 team(monali n group,tejas , jayendra). Without this week don’t end… jya sudhi pet bharine vaat na kariye majja na aave…. N now its part of life…

Its d best place to work with becoz all comes here with only one moto with only 1 purpose to do something good for kids, to bring them up, to teach them in all to prepare them for the world to compete with. Giving views n making a simple idea ,simple thought a great memorable moment. i got many good friends here n some of the good moments spent are murlidhar b’day parties, 99 movie plan n dinner in choice, life partner n shambhu, makai masti and mohanthad n latest jasuben kapadia’s pizza
